Wall 1991 Reunion

Just wanted to create an open forum for all those who want to discuss a 1991 if your not on Facebook here is the conversation. Thanks to Cyndi and all who created and responded.

Cyndi Thompson Fenton: Does anyone know of any plans in the works for a 20 year reunion since that's coming up this next year?

Other Responses: Scott Hohensee I am willing to bet Brandon or Gerald have some plans...next time i see them I will ask. Good to hear from you. Hope all is well on your end! Have a good week!

Brenda B. Nutbeem I have no idea, but it would be nice. .

Cyndi Thompson Fenton would be fun to see everyone again!

Todd Rea June I haven't heard a word from anyone in regard to a 20 year reunion but am certain that somebody has something in mind. Take care. By the way.......hope everyone is doing well! .

Rebecca Tomlin Filipowicz Who in our class was responsible for taking charge of that? Brandi? Does anyone know if the class of '90 was doing anything? We could always approach them about doing a joint reunion. .

Brenda B. Nutbeem I believe they already did something, or maybe that was the class of '89...I'm not sure though.

Gerald Jost - Keith Hoelscher invited any class members above below, even extended it to anyone as long as they paid and RSVP -- he only had about 5 or 10 extra it , he felt the more the better - I haven’t heard if 1990 did anything

  1. From Laura Johnson Okay, the class of 1990 is planning a reunion this summer. Can't remember the exact date but they are doing a picnic at a park and then dinner at Bentwood Country Club. I don't know if there is room for us to join, but we should be planning something for next year. Think our president and vice president are supposed to lead the pack on that. I know the 1990 class didn't plan anything until a few months ago so I am guessing we will end up being the same way. It should be pretty easy to plan considering most of us are on facebook.

  2. Thanks for stirring the pot Cyndi! I thought I passed the torch to Marcie last reunion, even though she wasn't there. Brandon

  3. Hello everyone! Brandi here. :) Brandon & I would be more than happy to help out with planning some of this. If we can get a date set, maybe we can get things rolling from there with everyone's feedback. We were thinking of a possible June date but that is just our thoughts. We wouldn't mind having everyone (adults) over to our house one evening for part of our get-together. Just an idea. I hope everyone is doing great! (Our class was so small that we could do whatever. We could even meet up and spend an evening on the Riverwalk in San Antonio or get ideas from Scott on things to do in his beautiful part of the world.) BTW: We are some non Facebook using fools so if you need to get in touch with us our email is: brandon@wcc.net

  5. I think we should definitely plan something memorable, I mean 20 years is a major milestone for all of us (can't really believe it has been that long). I'm with Laura, we should plan on something for next year.

  6. Cyndi Thompson Fenton June 9 at 11:25pm ReplyK. I got on the blog site, but am not computer savvy enough to be able to post a comment on it! Any help would be great! I'm doing good just to get on FB. Anyway, I think June would be great. Although I do think it quite unfair to have passed the torch to Marcie at the last reunion! If memory serves me right, she was birthing a child! How could you pass the torch to her during her time of anguish and pain and absolute joy?! :)

Seriously, though, should we put together a "roster" of sorts to get everyone's address and info together?

    Just a thought...

Jenny Wilde Millican June 9 at 11:33pm ReplyI am absolutely on board for anything. I wasn't able to make it to the ten year reunion, so I am excited for twenty. I think the earlier we set a date, the more people that will be able to attend. I hope everyone is doing great and life is treating you as good as me. .
Angela Davis June 10 at 12:59am ReplyHey guys, I'm also located in San Antonio and if ya'll are interested in making it a reunion in San Antonio (Good idea Brandi !) I would be willing to help out with some of the planning.

  7. Kind of worried about posting this as I don't want to get burnt by the torch. I think my excuse was Georgia last time well I am a little closer but still not in Wall. I wish you hadn't reminded me it has been 20 years. Doesn't seem that long. I'd be glad to help anyway I can but I won't volunteer to spend a bunch of time on facebook looking for people. I have resisted so far and will continue to resist being sociable on WWW. Next year would be good for me as well. Someone throw some dates out there that fit the bill. I'd love San Antonio or something but I also think it would be cool for us to get back together in Wall. Good to hear from you all.

  8. We did have some money for our 10 year that had been put back our senior year. The little we had was all used for the 10 year. I think the class of '90 had a great time at their reunion a few weeks ago here in San Angelo but several got stuck with the expense of the ones that said they were coming but were no shows. We would have to get that all figured out. Tami Schwartz said she could get the Boat Club for us if that is what everyone would like to do. Marcie's dad still caters so that is another option as far as the food goes. Just from talking to some around here, they are up for anything here in San Angelo and everyone would be more than glad to help. I hope you are all having a great summer!

  9. What if we just all pitch in with some $$ and get something together? Not sure how much each person would have to give but we could figure that out later. We could always cooperate on the responsabilities and not pass the torch to anyone in particular...I imagine we are all pretty busy these days. It's been ages since I've been to San Angelo (10 year reunion actually), it would be good to go back and see everyone.
